Mark J. Izzo

Founder and Principal

Mark founded Converge based on the belief that with proper communication, training, alignment of goals, and measurements and rewards, employers could significantly increase employee engagement and performance.

Prior to founding Converge, Mark was the Chief Administrative Officer for a large Philadelphia based non-profit organization.  In this capacity, he was responsible for strategy and operations support of five subsidiary companies for this $250 million Foundation. He also served in the capacity of Chief HR Officer for 10 years before assuming the responsibilities of Chief Administrative Officer.

Today Mark utilizes his HR and business operations expertise to consult with organizations on the significant challenges and costs associated with pay, employee benefits, turnover and organizational performance.  He also provides companies expertise in the areas of overall HR operations, planning and implementation.

Mark received his undergraduate degree and his M.B.A. from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.  He is an active member on the Governance Boards of several Philadelphia health care providers, a global eye care foundation, and is a member of  The Union League of Philadelphia. When not busy with his duties as bossman, Mark enjoys spending time on his boat down the shore and perfecting his winemaking skills.

Pamela S. Rockacy, CEBS

Director of Benefits

Pam joined Converge in May of 2007 and has over 28 years of experience in the Employee Benefits field. She has worked extensively with Health and Welfare Plans as well as Retirement Plan Sales and Administration. In her position as the Director of Benefits, she is directly responsible for the Converge benefits practice. Pam and her staff orchestrate benefit sales and administration, compliance, contract oversight and client relations.

Prior to joining Converge, Pam managed the employee benefits area at Cigna and was primarily focused on Retirement Plan Sales and Administration. She has also worked as a consultant for a major auto maker and a large banking organization creating employee benefit service centers, training seminars and compliance procedures.  Pam specializes in providing creative and cost effective solutions for rising employee benefit costs. She places the highest value on the long standing relationships with her clients.

Pam received her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certification through The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. She has a B.S from Penn State University and holds a paralegal certificate in Employee Benefits plans. Pam has two wonderful daughters who share her avid support of any and all things Penn State. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys her weekly tennis matches, and continues the struggle to lower her golf handicap.

Susanna A. Izzo

Analyst

Susanna has over 20 years of experience in the Accounting field. She has been with Converge since its founding in 2005. Susanna received her BS in Accounting and MBA from Drexel University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and provides analytical support to clients as part of the Converge team.

Prior to working at Converge, Susanna worked in Public Accounting and the Finance department of a Philadelphia non profit organization. She also spent 12 years playing various roles in the finance department of a software company.  Susanna currently works in conjunction with the HR and benefits teams at Converge to provide analysis and oversight.

Drawing from her Italian heritage, Susanna has a love for cooking and drinking good wine, especially the Izzo homemade varieties. When not at work, Susanna juggles the demands of her two sons and being married to the boss.

Jamee L. Rivers

Senior HR Consultant

Jamee has over 15 years of Human Resource Management experience in multiple industries including Healthcare, Non-profit, Manufacturing, Distribution, International Financial Services and Technology. Jamee has been with Converge since March 2008.

Jamee currently works on site with a client as a Human Resource Director. Her human resources experience and expertise includes a broad range of skills including, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration and HRIS & Payroll Implementation. She is excellent at building strong relationships with her clients. Jamee manages multiple client projects and achieves very high results.

Jamee is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Delaware County Human Resources Association SHRM Chapter. She sits on the Board of the Delaware County Human Resources Association and chairs the Foundation Committee. Jamee enjoys spending time with her family both here and in Florida, and is very active with her two young children.

Mark S. Mason, PHR

Senior HR Consultant

Mark has a PHR Certification from The National Society for Human Resources Management and a B.S. in Psychology from Ursinus College. Mark has 18 years of management experience in the non-profit industry. His solid human resources management background includes a broad range of leadership teaching, team building, coaching, program development and administrative skills. Mark has been with Converge since March of 2008 as an outsourced HR Director.

He is an articulate communicator and astute motivator, with strong presentation, consultative, listening and relationship building skills; capable of directing and influencing others, or contributing to collaborative endeavors. A skilled organizer and resourceful problem solver; able to exercise sound judgment, implement positive change, manage multiple projects/programs and achieve bottom line results. Attentive to detail, thorough and analytical, with the insight to identify problems and the creativity to locate solutions.

Mark is a member of the National and Lehigh Valley Society of Human Resources Management. When not at work Mark coaches youth football and lacrosse. He is a US National Lacrosse Member.

Caroline M. Renzulli

Communications Consultant

Caroline graduated from Villanova University with a B.A in Communication, specializing in interpersonal communication. She has a diverse background in the fields of marketing and communication. She has previously worked as a regional representative in Barcelona, Spain for an online travel guide and as a campus representative for Villanova University. Caroline has been with Converge since May of 2008 as a Communications Consultant. Since joining Converge, she has focused on various marketing initiatives including branding, customized marketing materials, social media, newsletters and benefits communication. In September 2011, Caroline relocated to Washington D.C where she continues to consult for Converge clients on a part-time basis. 

Caroline is an eager learner and loves the thrill of a new challenge. She is excited by the new trends in social media and ever evolving mediums through which we communicate.

Caroline loves to experience new people, new places, and different cultures. She lives for Villanova Basketball season. When not spending time with her two dogs, Caroline plays softball and even a little football, wearing number 51 for her all time favorite athlete, Bernie Williams.

Jennifer A. Adams, PHR

Senior HR Consultant

Jennifer is the newest addition to the Converge team and brings over 10 years of HR experience with her. Jennifer is a motivated team builder, with exceptional leadership and management skills. She has extensive experience as an HR Director, Manager and Consultant for various organizations throughout the great Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regions.

In her various roles, Jennifer has been responsible for integrating and maintaining performance evaluation systems, initiating and handling employee recruitment and guiding directors and staff on employee issues and concerns. Jennifer excels at employee relations and has succeeded in engaging both employees and management in order to forge relationships and bridge the gap between management and staff.

Jennifer is an active member of the National Society for Human Resource Management.

Robin J. Young

Client Relations Specialist

While residing in California, Robin accumulated over a decade of experience in medical office management. She ran hospital units as well as private offices in Beverly Hills.  Robin comes to Converge with top notch customer service skills and a thorough knowledge of the insurance carriers as well as the providers.  She knows the language to interface with the customer service departments of large insurance companies, and can still connect with the back office billing departments of small regional physicians.

Robin is extremely organized, detail oriented and thorough.  She can manage multiple projects and creatively identify solutions.

Robin attended Central Michigan University. She is a member of Chester Valley Golf Club and plays doubles on their top seeded tennis team. She is active with her two children and loves to travel.

Tara Rucci

HR and Benefits Consultant

Tara joins Converge with over 15 years of HR experience. Throughout her career, Tara has worked with various organizations, ranging in size from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. She has a diverse background, with experience in health insurance, pharmaceutical and consulting industries.

Tara has extensive experience as a consultant, working for several nationally recognized consulting firms. She has worked on recruiting, performance management and employee training. In addition to this experience, she has worked on employee benefits administration, corporate policy development and compensation planning. Her success has been achieved by focusing on the client's needs and aligning their HR practices with strategic priorities.

Tara received her Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and Health Care Administration from West Chester University. She continues to be an active member of the Greater Valley Forge Society for Human Resource Management (GVFHRA). Tara also holds a PA Health, Life and Disability License. When not at work, Tara enjoys spending time relaxing with her family and participating in a variety sports.


Karen-Marie Johnson

Recruiter

Karen-Marie joined Converge in April 2011 with over 10 years of experience in Human Resources. Karen has experience as both a Recruiter and HR Generalist.  Most recently, she has worked as an outsourced recruiter and consultant for two large healthcare facilities located on the Main Line. In this role, Karen focuses on performing full cycle recruiting for positions up to and including directors, physicians and executive staff. 

Karen-Marie has a broad range of experience including staffing, compensation administration, management development, employee relations, and compliance.  Karen-Marie received her A.A.S in Criminal Justice from Delaware Technical & Community College, and her B.A. in Organizational Dynamics/Human Performance Management from Immaculata University.  

When not at work, Karen-Marie enjoys reading and going to plays both on and off Broadway.  She also attends many dance concerts and recitals in support of her daughter.

Carissa R. Steffy

HR/Communications Consultant

Carissa graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  She has a diverse background in the fields of human resources and communications.  She has previously worked as an HR Project Assistant for a global laboratory supply and distribution company at their corporate headquarters in Radnor, PA.  It was during her time there that she developed a passion for both Corporate Communications and Human Resources.  Carissa joined the Converge team in January 2012.

 Carissa is a fast learner and adapts quickly to the ever changing business environment.  She is very detail oriented and enjoys all phases of the creative process, from an initial idea to a final product.

 Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Carissa is a diehard Philadelphia sports fan with her favorite team being the Phillies.  In her spare time she loves traveling, both nationally and internationally.  Her favorite city in the world is London, England.
